One of SymPhar’s core values as a company is to be involved not only in the direct business of health care products and services, but in the fostering of well being. We believe that the arts have a vital role to play in this.
We are proud not only to be able to do our small part in helping bringing the arts to our patients and partners, but also to be playing a role in supporting Polish arts financially, which we believe should be an obligation of every business in order to be a true net contributor to the society in which we operate.
The President of SymPhar, Mr. Simon Lucas, has for many years been involved in supporting Polish arts, both as a private collector and enthusiast, but also as a supporter and sponsor through various companies and organizations in which he has been involved. This cooperation has involved the National Opera, the National Gallery, Theater Roma, sponsorship over many years of a series of calendars featuring outstanding Polish artists and many exhibitions and artistic publications.

Australians think a lot about water.
Either there’s not enough of it, so there’s
a drought, or there’s too much of it, so there’s floods.
Australians’ leisure activities are concentrated around water and more than 90% of Australians live near the coast. Australia also has the most sophisticated and efficient water-trading scheme in the world, necessary to support a huge agricultural industry on such a dry continent.
Water is also of course an intrinsic part of the beauty of the Australian landscape.
So in our 2011 calendar we are pleased to bring you “Australia and Water”, showing 12 beautiful examples of oceans, lakes, rivers and “billabongs” (traditional Aboriginal watering holes) from all over the vast continent of Australia (equivalent in area to 25 Polands!).
To all our clients, partners and friends, on behalf of us all at SymPhar, I thank you for your ongoing support, and I wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a healthy
and happy 2011.
